Back to resultsFLUOROFAB® BELTING
Fluoropolymers are made of fluorinated plastic material which is characterized by high resistance to chemicals as well as good thermal stability and low coefficient of friction.
APPLICATIONS
Conveyor belts.
FEATURES
-
Fluorofab® belting are made from fiberglass open mesh fabric coated with PTFE Teflon® reinforcement.
-
The operating temperature range is from -204 °C to + 315 °C (– 400 °F to + 600 °F), with a superior non-stick surface.
-
The woven glass substrate provides good strength and dimensional stability with mesh size of 70%. It provides great air circulation to reduce drying time and energy consumption.
-
Open mesh PTFE impregnated fiberglass belting is available with a black U.V. block coating for ultra violet drying.
- Fluorofab® belts can be reinforced with splices - heat sealed or stitched strip on one or both sides. This reinforcement has a dual function: in addition to reduce fibre garneting of the belt which rub on the pulleys, it provides accurate tracking for pins as well as for the attachment points or rings used as guidance.
